“15 saffron-hued sheep”

Campaign for Wool, Saville Row
UK, London somewhere.

In conjunction with Prince Charles’ Campaign for Wool, Selfridges arranged for fifteen veggie-dyed sheep to mill around its store. Those are lucky sheep to be cleaned and prettied up.

I didn’t know masses of sheep past their fashionable wool date get shipped off elsewhere. PETA looked at the merino wool industry in Australia. This reminds me of a lil chat at work about the strange things we impose on animals for our own ends. Like keeping winter huskies in glasshouse Singapore.
